Heidelberg Materials has launched the sixth round of its biodiversity and research competition. The Quarry Life Award has a total prize fund of around £250,000 and is now open for project submissions based at Chipping Sodbury Quarry.
The international competition is run every three years to inspire biodiversity and restoration projects at extraction sites.
South Gloucestershire Council is undertaking an additional Regulation 18 consultation covering the council’s strategy for ensuring adequacy of its own housing land supply and whether it can assist with Bristol City Council’s unmet housing need.
