Hi everyone,

The sun is shining (mostly!), and Chipping Sodbury is bursting with energy, flavour, and family fun this summer.

Get ready to tuck into the Eat Chipping Sodbury Food & Drink Festival. With artisan bites, street food galore, and a buzzing market atmosphere, it's a day not to miss. Bring your appetite!

School's out, and our events calendar is crammed with ideas to keep your youngsters busy. Highlights include the library's Summer Reading Challenge and Junkbox Challenge, the Sodbury Summer Search - a brilliant way to explore the town with the kids, and a day of Bushcraft skills at Horwood Farm.

For more free summer fun, head to Yate Shopping Centre's 60th Anniversary Event.

Also this month, tap your toes to Jon Clare & The Piano Man Band at Camers, spin over to the Record Fair and book your seats for Sodbury Players' September production of The Legend of Sleepy Hollow.

Finally, we have two new competitions for you to enter - sort your summer reading with a copy of Blue Chalk, Red Blood, White Lightning from master of cold war espionage fiction and Chipping Sodbury resident David Brierley, and experience exquisite live chamber music with Chipping Sodbury Music Society's Ensemble Renard October concert.

Keep checking MySodbury.co.uk's what's on calendar for a joyful, jolly and jam-packed August, and let us know what you’d like to share with the community.

Best wishes,

Claire
